I'm writing this because I dont know anyone, even MD's, with my particular problem. I owe close to 300,000.00 in both federal and private student debt. It would have been over 300K if I were not a physical therapist, and caught a break with one of my loan accounts for some forgiveness. So you guys might be asking yourselves "why is he complaining? He has a great job that pays well." You would be right. I do. I get paid well and have no complaints about that. That said, I'm not a MD. I have doctor debt without even being close to the doctor income.
My name is Justin Roscoe and I graduated from the University of San Diego (USD) back in 2008. I graduated with a degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing. The reason I went to college, my dream job is to be the head of the marketing department for a large corporation, hopefully creating and approving television advertisements for large companies. However, my current status is nowhere near that dream coming true. The reason that it's nowhere near completion, is largely in part due to the economy.

I went back to school at 55 to get an advance degree and I got a MFA so I could teach and get retirement. After nine years and two months I was relaesed just eight months from being vested for retirement Now I have been out of work almost a year living on 1000 a month social securty and they want me to pay 500 a month on the student loan what am I saposed to live on? I need some kind of out. I am 70 and can not get a position now I have tried. The student loan at this point will never be paid any way and I need a way out.
Debts can indeed be very stressful, particularly when you are a student. You, as a student, are often required to take out student loan to finance the cost of your education. It is also very common to take out student credit card debts. The credit card issuing companies are also targeting the students to sell credit cards. However, if you are into student credit card debts, you should go for a proper debt reduction strategy. One popular option available to you is to opt for student credit card consolidation program.

Smartphones are here. Smartphones are fun. Everyone wants one or already has one. And why not.
Of course we want to be frugal especially when we are stressed about paying student loans but what if you could use the smart phone as a tool to help you be more frugal.
Also keep in mind a basic tenant of life. Time is money. Time management can lower overall stress even when student loan payments have you down.
Dealing with students loans is about money, time management and stress reduction.
Can we use the smart phone to save money? Sure.
Can we use it to make better buying decisions and to find deals. Of course. Ever heard of ScoutMob or Groupon or Living Social.

I am pretty excited. After years of deferment, I have been payment my student loan payment for three months now. I really thought it was going to hurt me and for the first two months it really did. But it seem this month I made the payment with money to spare and no stress in sight. Of course, the payment is only $190.
My goal now is to pay off my credit cards and any other loan based items to make up for the cost of the student loan payment.
Lily's List is a Student Loan Gift Registry created by four moms in the midwest to help anyone with a student loan pay it down.
Members create a profile page which includes a 'give a gift' button and a thermometer showing how much the member has raised to date.
All gift donations are directly deposited into the member's student loan account at their bank or loan institution.
Lily's List is about rethinking the gifts we get in our lives and how we spend our money. Do you really need another sweater? Do you really need to spend $5 on a cup of coffee?
Every little bit helps and can really add up over the years!
